Why Reidsville won: Junior QB Lavert Butchee filled in for injured starter Tyrell Houghton (high ankle sprain) and had a dominant day throwing the ball. Meanwhile, the Rams defense shut down star RB Khyri Crawford, holding Eastern Randolph to 27 carries for 1 net yard on the way to their 42nd consecutive victory - the longest active winning streak in North Carolina. With this latest victory, Reidsville clinched at least a tie for the Mid-State 2-A conference title.
Stars: Reidsville - QB Lavert Butchee 12-for-22 passing for 283 yards, 3 TDs; WR Kenzel Doe 7 catches for 166 yards, 2 TDs; LB Steve Williams 10 tackles.
