Simple and to the point: To see nature in all her beautiful colorful splendor, just drive U.S. 29 between Greensboro and the Virginia state line. Take a picnic lunch and a camera.

Who needs the mountains? What a great daycation.

That drive releases noxious fumes that contribute to global warming, which will in 3 years be irreversible. So, enjoy the pretty leaves while you can.
