GREENSBORO — A man who police said failed to appear in court on breaking-and-entering charges was arrested Tuesday night.
Greensboro police arrested Justin Jay Brown, 21, at 6 p.m.
He is charged with two counts of residential felony breaking and entering and two counts of felony breaking and entering, police said in a news release.
Additional charges are pending further investigation, police said.
Police Lt. Dennis Willoughby said the charges stem from two burglaries, one in the city and one in the county.
Sgt. Bud Blaylock, a community resource officer with the department's Central Division, said that Brown is being investigated for a possible connection to the recent string of burglaries in the New Irving Park neighborhood.
Blaylock said Brown was arrested at a local motel with a vehicle that matched the description and license plate of a suspicious vehicle reported in the area on Saturday.
