Greensboro man shot during robbery

GREENSBORO — A 22-year-old man was wounded Sunday night during a robbery attempt.

Greensboro police said Obed Lugo Garcia was shot in the shoulder when two men robbed him at 8:21 p.m. at 2906 W. Florida St. Only one shot was fired, and the bullet grazed Garcia's shoulder.

Two men took Garcia's wallet, cell phone and car keys. Police did not put a value on the items stolen.

Police said one of the suspects was a black man between 20 and 25 who stands 6-feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has short hair and wore a white shirt and black pants. Police had an incomplete description of the second suspect.
