Burlington man shot in hand

BURLINGTON — A 21-year-old man was shot in the left hand early Saturday.
Burlington police said officers found Wallace Bellfield lying in the parking lot of the Burlington Housing Authority on North Ireland Street at 1:19 a.m. Saturday. Police said Bellfield had been shot by a man in the 600 block of Fairfax Drive.
Police had no motive for the shooting and an incomplete description of the shooter, who was last seen running into Terrace Apartments on North Church Street. Bellfield's condition was unavailable Monday.
