GREENSBORO — Three people said they were robbed Sunday in what appear to be two separate and unrelated incidents.
At 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Greensboro police said Carlos Dion Luke, 34, of High Point had parked his car at 3404 High Point Road when a man approached. The suspect displayed a handgun and robbed Luke of his wallet, watch and some jewelry. He fled on foot.
At 8:16 p.m., 20-year-old Shawn McDonald and 33-year-old Tonya Wrenn were robbed at 1305 Merritt Drive by a man who asked for a cigarette. When McDonald refused, a man hit him in the face. Two suspects ran off. Police did not say what, if anything, was taken.
Police had incomplete descriptions of the suspects in both incidents. No injuries were reported.
Anyone with more information about either case can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
