Wofford puts exclamation mark on win

WOFFORD 35, WESTERN CAROLINA 26: Five different players scored touchdowns for Wofford as the Terriers held off Western Carolina for a 35-26 win on Saturday, snapping a four-game losing skid.

Michael Scott, Mike Rucker, Mitch Allen and Stev Davitte all scored rushing touchdowns for the Terriers (2-5, 1-3 Southern Conference).

The Catamounts (1-6, 1-4) got 1-yard touchdown runs from Mike Johnson and Dion Wilson to pull within 28-14 at halftime.

WINSTON-SALEM STATE 16, BETHUNE-COOKMAN 10: Cedric Hickman's 12-yard touchdown run with 9:15 left gave Winston-Salem State its first lead. The Rams (1-6) padded their lead on Landen Thayer's 36-yard field goal.
