Officers say they received information June 17 that Umberger bought 50 bindles of heroin, and the drugs were stored in a bedroom at her apartment. Officers obtained a search warrant and searched the residence.
Umberger admitted to buying a “brick” of heroin, which she intended to sell, police said. Police sent substances recovered from the apartment to the SBI for testing. Umberger was arrested, but later failed to appear in court.
She is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has blonde hair, green eyes and tattoos on her left ankle and lower stomach.
Her last known address is 3904-D Overland Heights.
Officers say they were dispatched to the Kangaroo station at 3101 Pleasant Garden Road on July 25 on a robbery call. A clerk reported a man had brought three items to the cash register. When the register was open, the man indicated he had a gun and wanted money. The suspect, later identified as Earnest Kennedy Jr., fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Kennedy is white, 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and multiple tattoos. His last known address is 5352 Old Walker Mill Road in Randleman.
