Previous elective experience: Served four years on the planning board and eight years on the town council
Other relevant experience (boards and commissions, etc.): I’ve done lots of things including serving as a volunteer probation officer for first offenders program in Guilford County.
Why have you chosen to run for this office? I love helping my town and the people and I feel I have a lot to offer.
Key qualifications you would bring to the job: I think I am experienced and can bring a lot to my town in many ways.
Family: husband, four children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
If you were to give Stokesdale a letter grade on its effectiveness in managing growth, what would it be? B-, there is still lots of work to be done in lots of areas.
