GREENSBORO — A man suspected of robbing a High Point bank Wednesday afternoon struck again Friday hitting a bank in south Greensboro, according to police.

At 10:30 a.m., police responded to the First Citizens Bank at 3200 Randleman Road on a bank robbery call.

A man entered the business and gave a threatening note to tellers, demanding money.

The man received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the business, reportedly in a white minivan, according to police.

Greensboro police believe it is the same suspect who robbed the BB&T branch on Westchester Drive in High Point on Wednesday. No injuries or weapons were reported in either robbery.

The suspect wore the same clothing in both robberies — a black hooded University of Cincinatti Bearcats jacket with red on the hood and sleeves, blue jeans, tennis shoes, a green hat and sunglasses.

The suspect is a full-bearded white man believed to be in his 40s, stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a stocky build.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect's identity to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000 in Greensboro or 889-4000 in High Point.

Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for cash rewards.
