HIGH POINT – High Point police are looking to ID and locate a man who robbed a BB&T Bank this afternoon.
At 2:40 p.m., a man entered the branch at 2105 Westchester Drive and demanded money.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled and was last seen running southbound. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white man between 30 to 40 years old with a beard.
He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a green hat and a black pullover jacket with a hood, with a Cincinnati Bear Cats’ logo on the left chest.
The jacket had an orange on the lower part of each sleeve and in the center of the hood.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or has information about the case is urged to call High Point Crimestoppers at 889-4000.
Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
