GREENSBORO — Single-game tickets for UNCG's upcoming men's basketball season are on sale at the Greensboro Coliseum box offices and through Ticketmaster's outlets, charge-by-phone and at Ticketmaster.com.
The Spartans will play the first of 15 home games Nov. 20 against Clemson. Game time is 7 p.m. Single-game tickets are $5 in the new Spartan Spot — a special grandstand area located on floor level in the north end zone.

MEN'S SOCCER
U.S. SOCCER: American defender Oguchi Onyewu will have surgery Wednesday to repair a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee, an injury sustained during last week's World Cup qualifier.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL
FCS POLL: Elon is ranked seventh this week in both The Sports Network FCS top-25 poll and the FCS Coaches top-25 ratings. Elon advanced two spots in the coaches rankings and one place in The Sports Network poll. Defending national champion Richmond continues to hold down the top spot in both rankings.
MEN'S TENNIS
ITA CAROLINAS REGIONAL: North Carolina's Clay Donato defeated South Carolina's Diego Cubas 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-4 to claim the ITA Carolinas Regional singles crown at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill. Duke's Reid Carleton and Henrique Cunha claimed the doubles championship.
MEN'S GOLF
ROYAL LAKES FALL TOURNAMENT: Guilford shot an even-par 284 to take a two-stroke lead after the first of two rounds of the Royal Lakes/Oglethorpe Invitational at the Royal Lakes County Club. Emory heads into today's final round two shots behind the Quakers and four strokes ahead of top-ranked Methodist. Greensboro College is tied for seventh. Josh Nichols led the Pride with a 71.
MIZUNO SAVANNAH INVITATIONAL: Elon's Jayson Judy and Phil Bartholomew sit among the top-25 players at the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate golf tournament, and the Phoenix is in a 10th-place tie with Troy. East Carolina leads the 15-team field.
GEORGETOWN INTERCOLLEGIATE: Will Almand and Colin Chapman are both in contention and UNCG is tied for second after Monday's opening round of the weather-shortened Georgetown Intercollegiate at The Members Club at Four Streams. The Spartans are tied for second alongside Richmond. Washington State leads.
CSU FALL INVITATIONAL: High Point is in fourth place out of six teams at the CSU Fall Invitational. Freshman Chase Wilson is tied for fifth after 36-holes.
WOMEN'S GOLF
LADY PIRATE INVITATIONAL: UNCG is in sixth place after two rounds at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, being played on the Classic Course at Greenville CC. Junior Erica Creed shot two rounds of 74 to lead the Spartans. Elon's Tara McFadden shot a tournament-low round of 66 and sits atop the leaderboard.
HONORS
GREENSBORO COLLEGE: Greensboro College's Andreas Platt and Seth Adams are the defensive and offensive rookie of the week in football in the USA South Conference.
N.C. WESLEYAN: Gibsonville native Bo Jordan of N.C. Wesleyan is the USA South Conference offensive football player of the week.
WAKE FOREST: Wake Forest senior forward Allie Sadow was named to Top Drawer Soccer's national team of the week.
