RALEIGH (AP) — Two injured N.C. State players will miss the rest of the season.

Coach Tom O'Brien said today that cornerback Rashard Smith and defensive end Jeff Rieskamp won't play again this season because of injuries.

Smith is a freshman who suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of last week's 52-20 loss to Boston College. Rieskamp is a sophomore who hasn't played this season because of a sports hernia and had surgery on it Oct. 16.

Nine Wolfpack players are out for the season with injuries.
