On Thursday, a school system administrator contacted the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office to report an allegation of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student.

Sheriff's office investigators looked into the matter and arrested Ralph David Surridge, 57, of 2295 Jay Dee Drive in Winston-Salem, according to a news release.
