Site: High Point Central High School

Why the Bison won: Central held its second consecutive opponent and fourth of the season below 10 points to extend its win streak to six. Parkland took an 8-0 lead into the second quarter, but Central linebacker James Moorman, whom head coach Wayne Jones said “was all over the field for us,” intercepted a pass early in the second to set up a Derek Grant touchdown catch and set off a string of 28 unanswered points. Akeem Langham added a defensive touchdown just after halftime when he stripped a Parkland running back and returned it about 20 yards.

Records: Parkland 1-8, 0-4; High Point Central 6-1, 3-0.
