Barbara Auman

What she does: Barbara Auman has volunteered at Jamestown Public Library for more than 12 years.
During the past two years, she has led story time for Jamestown Elementary School. She reads to kindergartners who are young and have a hard time sitting still. Auman is patient and kind to these youngsters.
She understands the children and works hard to help them enjoy books and literature as they learn life lessons.
She shares her time and talents with the students during
the school year and summer months.

What she tells others: “My favorite part of volunteering here is working with these precious children. How can you not love them?”

Volunteer opportunity
