CHARLOTTE (AP) — Carolina running back Jonathan Stewart is questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, and kickoff returner Mike Goodson won't play.

Goodson was ruled out Friday as he recovers from a concussion. Stewart practiced but was limited this week because of pain in his left Achilles' tendon.

Safety Chris Harris (knee), linebacker Na'il Diggs (ribs) and defensive end Everette Brown (ankle) are probable.

Meanwhile, coach John Fox sidestepped questions Friday about comments made a day earlier by linebacker Jon Beason.

In his paid appearance on Charlotte radio station WFNZ, Beason said he was planning to talk to defensive end Julius Peppers about his lack of production in the Panthers' 0-3 start.

"We all need to pick it up," Fox said.
