Fan of wrestler Ric Flair wins $100K

Frankie Shirley saw a new instant scratch-off game featuring Ric Flair and thought, what the heck, he'd give it a shot since he's a fan of the former wrestling pro.
His decision paid off. He won $100,000 playing the “Wooooooo!” game.
He told the N.C. Education Lottery he read the ticket about 10 times to make sure it was real.
Shirley bought the ticket, worth $68,001.60 after taxes, at The Tobacco Shop LLC on North Fayetteville Street in Asheboro.
He said he may use some of his winnings for a trip. But most of it will go into savings.
