GREENSBORO — The Guilford County Department of Public Health will hold two more immunization clinics to administer Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine.
State law requires every sixth-grader entering school after Aug. 1, or any student who turned 12 on or after that date, to receive a Tdap booster if five or more years have passed since the student last received that vaccine.
The special clinics will be held Sept. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at both Health Department locations, 1100 E. Wendover Ave. in Greensboro and 501 E. Green Drive in High Point.
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
The Tdap shot is free.
