Despite a loss on Saturday, N.C. A&T is ranked in this week's BoxToRow.com/BASN coaches poll. The poll of the top HBCU football teams in the Football Championship Subdivision lists A&T in 10th. South Carolina State leads the list, followed by Florida A&M, Grambling State, Southern and Prairie View A&M. The Aggies are 2-1 after suffering a 24-14 loss to Hampton on Saturday. Hampton is ranked seventh.

ELON: Elon's football team dropped two spots in both The Sports Network top 25 poll and FCS coaches poll. The Phoenix (2-1) ranks 13th in both polls. Defending national title holder Richmond sits atop both polls with a 3-0 record. Villanova (3-0), Northern Iowa (2-1), Montana (3-0) and William & Mary (3-0) hold top-five positions in both polls. The Southern Conference is represented by two other Conference teams this week — Appalachian State (10th in both polls) and Wofford (18th in The Sports Network poll and 17th in the coaches rankings).
