An incentive plan tied to $1.3 million in the 2009-10 Guilford County budget will be up for discussion before commissioners Wednesday.
The 3 p.m. meeting at the Old County Courthouse, 301 W. Market St., is open to the public.
Guilford County has an incentive policy for businesses that has a requirement for job growth and investment.
A second proposed plan, which has been promoted by commissioners vice chairman Steve Arnold, would be aimed at smaller businesses, he has said.
The proposed policy has drawn criticism from commissioners and the public as possibly illegal or redundant.
Commissioners will meet to talk about the plan and add last-minute changes before commissioners review it again during their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, also at the Old County Courthouse.
