Photos: Hundreds shopping for bargains at community yard sale

GREENSBORO — Hundreds of residents shopped for bargains during Saturday's community yard sale in downtown Greensboro.

You still have time to stop by. The event ends at 2 p.m. today.

It's being held in the News & Record’s parking lot at the corner of Church and South Washington streets across from the train depot.

Proceeds will benefit the News & Record’s Newspaper in Education program and the United Way of Greater Greensboro.

I wish they had advertised this earlier.I didn't know anything about it till 6:00pm. But I guess that's one way to save money. But it would be nice if they would let people know at least a week in advance.

There were ads in the paper about it almost daily and it was mentioned several times in Mike Fuchs Bargain Blog online. Sorry you missed it!
