LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Officials with Little Rock-based Windstream Corp. say the company has agreed to buy Lexington-based Lexcom Inc.
The approximately $141 million deal is expected to close by the end of the year pending approval by regulators and Lexcom shareholders.
Lexcom provides telecommunications and video services to customers primarily in rural Davidson County.
Windstream Corp. provides phone, high-speed Internet and high-definition digital TV services to customers in 16 states.
