Elon's men's basketball team will play two home games against ACC opponents at the Greensboro Coliseum during the 2010-11 season, coach Matt Matheny told the Burlington Times-News.

These will be continuations of series that begin with new contracts for the upcoming season. Wake Forest and N.C. State are the teams that will face the Phoenix at the coliseum.

This season, Elon visits Wake Forest and N.C. State for consecutive games in December.

The Wake Forest contract calls for two games across the two seasons. The arrangement with N.C. State is for three games, with Elon also making a trip to Raleigh in 2011-12.

Matheny said former N.C.State player and director of basketball operations Justin Gainey, who's on the Elon staff as an assistant coach, learned about the Wolfpack's schedule opening for the coming season. That led to what became a three-year contract.

The coliseum will be used as UNCG's homecourt beginning with the upcoming season.
