GREENSBORO — A 19-year-old student was attacked Thursday afternoon as he walked home from school.
Greensboro police said a group of men accosted Jamar White at 812 Marsh St. at 5:12 p.m. One man punched White in the face and took his wallet from his pocket. But police said there was nothing in the wallet, which the man then threw on the ground.
The men walked off. White was not hurt. Police did not say which school White attends.
Police described the suspect as a black man in his 20s of average height and weight. He wore a white tank top and blue, white and pink plaid shorts.
