BURLINGTON — A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of robberies last weekend.
Davie Lewis Cates Jr., 19, of 209 Westwood Drive in Elon, was charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Burlington police said the arrests followed robberies on Saturday at Tommy’s Mini Mart at 1832 N. Church St., Fairway One Stop at 704 Chapel Hill Road and Kangaroo Mart at 1013 S. Main St. in Graham.
The other two suspects each were charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping.
Reginald Leon Cobb, 30, of 114 Highland Ave., is being held in the Alamance County jail on a $500,000 bond.
Davon Antoin Cain, 18, of 415 S. St. John St., remains in the Alamance County jail on a $200,000 bond. Curtis also was charged with one count of assault by pointing a gun. Police said a suspect pointed a gun at a customer during the robbery of Tommy's Mini Mart.
Cates is in the Alamance County jail on a $20,000 bond.
