LEXINGTON — Authorities have tracked down a man wanted in connection with a convenience store robbery last week in Davidson County.
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office said 22-year-old Dustin Matthew Russell has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, obtaining property by false pretense, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods. The bond for Russell, who lives at 105 Sidney St., was set at $107,500.
The sheriff's office said Davidson County detectives and federal marshals arrested Russell in Gastonia on Wednesday.
Russell's charges related to the Aug. 17 robbery of the Flash To Go Mart at 3117 Michael Road in the Tyro community. Another suspect, Gregory Dean Craver, 17, was arrested Aug. 20 in his hometown of Lenoir.
