GREENSBORO — A teenager wanted on robbery charges was arrested Wednesday night in Greensboro.
Greensboro police said they arrested Kevin James Hunt at 22 Friendway Circle about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday. He remains in the Guilford County jail on $100,000 bond.
The 17-year-old Hunt, who lives at 1905 Boulevard St., was charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of common-law robbery.
Police said the charges stem from two incidents: one on May 2 when four men stole wallets, money, credit cards and a cell phone from two men, and another on May 7 when someone tried to steal a woman's purse.
Hunt was featured in the June 8 edition of "Guilford County's Most Wanted," which appears each Monday in the News & Record. He is the 117th suspect who has been arrested, found or turned themselves in since the weekly feature started running in February 2008.
