There have been many, and will be more, outpourings of accolades about the multiple strengths of the late Patricia Sullivan as chancellor at UNCG. All are deserved. As superb as she was in that challenging role as a respected and attentive listening leader, her greatest and perhaps most endearing strength may well have been in her enormous capacity as a caring individual for those who needed a meaningful uplift or positive word of encouragement.
Pat Sullivan’s huge heart was golden and she was genuine to the core. This community was fortunate to have had her among us even though sadly, she left so soon. None of us should forget the lasting memories she left behind.
