Man hit in head during robbery

GREENSBORO — A man was hit in the head with a bottle Wednesday afternoon as he left a local grocery store.

Leontimius Miller, 38, of Greensboro was attacked outside of Paul's Grocery at 920 Benjamin Benson St. at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. Greensboro police said someone then took a beer, two cigarettes and a wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Miller was treated at Moses Cone Hospital for a wound that police said was not life threatening.

Police had no description of the suspect except for his name, Will.
