HIGH POINT — Police have released the identities of five victims of an early morning shooting Saturday on Friendly Avenue.
The shooting happened at 12:21 a.m. Saturday at 227 Friendly Ave. Officers were told a vehicle was taking victims to the hospital and provided an escort.
Another victim was found at Friendly Avenue and Hickory Chapel Road, where he was pronounced dead.
The dead man was identified Monday morning as 31-year-old Joseph McClease McMannus of North Centennial Street.
Other victims were identified as Calvin Jovan Hall Scaife, 30, of 1112 Hickory Chapel Road; Mario Antwan Donahue, 22; and Tayari Rafiki Mitchell, both of 518 Three Oaks Drive; and Raynoda Devode Kirby, 36, of 1615 Brockett Ave.
As of Monday morning, Scaife was listed in stable condition at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Donahue was in stable condition at High Point Regional Hospital.
Kirby and Mitchell were both treated and released.
Police have yet to release a motive. No arrests have been made.
