GREENSBORO — Two people suffered gunshot wounds at an apartment complex Thursday night.
At 10:33 p.m., Greensboro police responded to a reported shooting at the Statesman Court complex at 401 S. Benbow Road, Apt. Q.
Charles Edward Monroe, 22, had been shot twice while Austin Sutton, 21, suffered a single gunshot wound, police said. They were taken to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for two suspects armed with handguns. Police described the first suspect as a black man with light skin who stands 6-foot-4. He wore a white T-shirt and has corn rows in his hair.
The second suspect is a black man with dark skin who stands 6-4 and was wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
