BURLINGTON — Families looking for a bargain on clothing can find deals on new and gently used summer apparel this month while helping the Hospice Home.

Volunteers from the Hospice League of Alamance-Caswell will run the “Hospice Clearance Store” through Aug. 29.

Adult and teen clothing is $2 per item, and children’s clothing is 50 cents.

“There’s going to be new items added to the racks daily,” said Karen Harris, administrator for the Hospice League.

The items will be organized by size, and the seasonal store also will sell shoes, hats, pocketbooks and more.

All proceeds will support Hospice Home, which is operated by the nonprofit Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. The home has 12 beds and has provided end-of-life care to hundreds of local people and comfort to their families.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Hospice Clearance Store is at 2308 Corporation Parkway at Burlington Outlet Village.

The league’s year-round store is next door. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. For information, call 532-0197.
