Aiken - Green
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph V. Green of Greensboro announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Venable Green, to Leah Ann Aiken of Fayetteville. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Deborah L. Chase of Fayetteville, Mr. Michael D. Aiken of Jacksonville, Fla., and the stepdaughter of Mr. Jonathan P. Chase of Fayetteville.
The couple plans to marry at 5:30 p.m. on September 19, 2009, at Landfall Country Club in Wilmington with Walter Glover officiating.
The bride-elect was graduated from North Carolina State University and received her master's degree from North Carolina Central University. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist at Ling and Kerr Therapy Services. The groom-elect is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is pursuing a master's degree in real estate finance at Cornell University.
The couple plans to live in Ithaca, N.Y.
