McLeansville motorcycle rider killed in hit and run accident
GREENSBORO — A motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing into a tree when a vehicle veered in front of him on East Wendover Avenue, police said.
Eugene Vadran Bullard Jr., 44, of McLeansville, died at Moses Cone hospital.
The crash happened near Huffine Mill Road as the other vehicle turned in front of Bullard’s motorcycle. He tried to avoid the other vehicle but lost control, running off the road and striking the tree.
The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop and left the scene, police said. The incident took place at about 6 p.m.
Police are still investigating, and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
