Olde Forest tennis tournament Aug. 7-9
Some of the top juniors in the state battle it out on the tennis courts this Friday Olde Forest Racquet Club in Elon.
More than 200 juniors are expected to participate in this level 3 tournament, featuring both singles and doubles. This is a USTA sponsored event. As a level 3 tournament, it is expected to draw some of the higher ranked players in the state. In addition, there will be local players showing their skills and hoping to pull some upsets of their own.
Olde Forest has hosted this tournament for more than 30 years. It has grown each year and is recognized as one of the best tournaments in the state. The tournament will be played at Olde Forest Racquet Club in Elon and The Jimmy Powell Tennis facility at Elon University.
The tournament starts Aug. 7, and the finals will be Aug. 9.
