Dozens of neighborhoods throughout the Triad will be participating Tuesday evening in National Night Out, an annual crime- and drug-prevention event.

- Brightwood Farm: Preakness Parkway at the club house for Brightwood Farms, 6:30-8 p.m. Food and refreshments will be served. The Whitsett fire department will be in attendance.
- Glen Laurel Community: 4308 McCarron Ct., 6:30-8 p.m., Alamance FD will be attending
Southern Guilford County
- Foxcroft Community: 4200 Pleasant Valley Road (corner of Randleman and Old Randleman), 6:30-8:30 p.m, pizza and drinks. A&T Drumline will play at 7:15 p.m.
- Russwood Acres: Location: Russwood Drive / Burning Bush Drive, 6-8 p.m., food and . Pinecroft Fire department Smoke Trailer, Pleasant Garden fire department.
