Drivers get practice time in their racecars during the Chin Motorsport event at Virginia International Raceway on Wednesday July 1, 2009 in Alton, VA. VIR opened in 1957 until 1974 and reopened in 2000 is a 3.2-mile track with 12 major turns, two straight always and elevation changes for drivers to test their skill at numerous events at the track. The track also host a driving and racing school.
