Residents in some precincts will have a new place to vote in the next round of elections. The Guilford County Board of Elections is selecting new polling locations.

The elections board met Tuesday to discuss the locations. The elections office has a verbal agreement with each location, and once the county signs a contract with each location, that paperwork will be submitted to the U.S. Justice Department for final approval, which elections officials say is likely.

Precincts and the new voting places:

G19: St. Pius X Catholic School, 2200 N. Elm St., Greensboro

G73: Trinity AME Zion Church, 631 E. Florida St., Greensboro

G65: Korean United Methodist Church, 2504 E. Woodlyn Way, Greensboro

H19B: Pennybyrn At Maryfield, 109 Penny Road, High Point

H10: Temple Memorial Baptist Church, 1458 Cedrow Drive, High Point
