Eugene Stroman Jr. couldn't contain himself when he realized he won a cool half-million bucks.
The Greensboro resident jumped up and down and ran around the house upon learning he hit it big time playing the Carolina Cash 5 instant-scratch off game.
He bought the ticket, worth $340,000 after taxes, at the P&B Convenience Mart on Freemen Mill Road in Greensboro.
Stroman told the North Carolina Education Lottery he will use some of his winnings during a trip with his fiancée that they had already planned.
Stroman is the second player to claim the top prize since the scratch-off game launched June 16.
