Woman robbed in Walmart parking lot

GREENSBORO – A woman was robbed of her handbag and a bag of merchandise in the parking lot of Walmart on Thursday night.
The incident occurred about 9:39 p.m. outside the business at 4244 W. Wendover Ave., according to police. The suspect, who had a handgun, fled in an SUV. A complete description of him was not available.
The Greensboro Police Department requests that anyone with information about this crime call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
