Robbery reported at Greensboro store

GREENSBORO – A man with a handgun robbed a store clerk early Thursday morning.

The clerk at the BP station at 4700 W. Market St. said the thief wore a dark scarf covering his face. He walked into the business, demanded money and got an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. The robbery occurred about 2:06 a.m.

No injuries or arrests were reported.

The Greensboro Police Department requests that anyone with information about this crime call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
