GREENSBORO — A teenager armed with a gun walked up to a car sitting idle at a stop light, put a gun to the driver's head and robbed him Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Robert Charest, 44, told Greensboro police he had pulled up to a stop light at East Market and Gillespie streets about 3 p.m. when an armed teenager approached him.
He stuck a gun to Charest's head, demanded money and his keys, police said.
The teen got his wallet and fled on foot, heading west toward York and Peachtree streets.
Police did not provide a complete description of the suspect.
Police ask those with information to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
