Man charged with abusing infant

A 24-year-old Davidson County man has been charged with felony child abuse after his child suffered a fractured femur.
Devin Lantz Sylvester, 24, of 198 Green Meadows Drive in Lexington was arrested Wednesday and is being held in jail on a $100,000 bond, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation began Tuesday after the 45-day-old child was treated at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. The hospital reported that the injury appeared to be a nonaccidental fracture.
