123 pot plants seized from home; man charged

A Graham man faces charges after Alamance County deputies found marijuana plants growing at a home on Tuesday.
Authorities searched 1856-D Crissy Lane in the Graham area. They seized 123 mature marijuana plants growing in three different rooms, five guns and about $5,500 cash, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Charles Spencer Whisnant, 37, who lived in the home, faces numerous drug charges including trafficking in marijuana. He was held in jail on a $17,000 bond.
