MAYODAN — Several people broke into McMichael High School last week, damaging rooms and stealing numerous items.
The incident was reported June 24 to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.
The suspects broke a desk, damaged doors and threw red and gray paint on a wall. They also stole about 15 keys, a backpack, cell phone and several tools valued at about $1,215. The school is at 6845 N.C. 135.
The sheriff's office asks anyone with information to call them at 634-3232 or Crime Stoppers at 349-9683.
