Dump truck crashes off U.S. 29 after driver loses control

GREENSBORO — A dump truck wound up on its side along U.S. 29 near Lee Street this afternoon after the driver lost control.
About 12:30 p.m., the truck left the southbound lanes of U.S. 29, went down an embankment and overturned.
Details are developing.
It was the second wreck Monday involving a vehicle on U.S. 29 in Greensboro.
Earlier Monday, two teenagers and a minor were hurt in a car crash on U.S. 29 near Hicone Road.
