Shoffners married 50 years
Harold Dean and Martha Moser Shoffner of Julian, NC are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this evening at a dinner with their extended family, hosted by their children, at the O.Henry Hotel in Greensboro, N.C. Their children are Philip Shoffner of Julian, N.C.; Laura Garrett and husband Ted of Julian, N.C.; Melanie Shoffner of W. Lafayette, Ind.; and Mark Shoffner and wife Wendy of Julian, N.C. They have seven grandchildren: Christa, Emily, Katie, Amber, Julian, Ashton and Madeline.
Harold and Martha were married June 27, 1959 at Low’s Lutheran Church in rural Guilford County. They were classmates at Nathanael Greene School from grades 1 through 12 and became high school sweethearts....and still are!
