Edmonds - Yates
Molly Blue Edmonds of Columbia and Ian Michael Yates of Stoke-on-Trent, England, were married on June 27, 2009, at Ridge Spring United Methodist Church in Ridge Spring, S.C. The Reverend Joseph C. Watson, uncle of the bride, officiated at the 4:00 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at Juniper's restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Mary and Marion M. Edmonds Jr., of Columbia, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth and Joseph C. Watson of Ridge Spring and Edith and the late Marion M. Edmonds of Greensboro. She graduated with honors from the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Political Science and is currently pursuing a M.A.T. degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies) at the University of South Carolina.
The bridegroom, son of Deborah and Michael Yates of Stoke-on-Trent, is the grandson of Maureen and Graham Shore of Stoke-on-Trent and the late Jeanne and Eric Yates of Biddulph, England. He graduated from Bath Spa University with a degree in History and is employed by the Sainsbury Corporation.
The couple will reside in Columbia.
