Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Cantrell, junior of Greensboro, N.C. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Spielman Cantrell of Somerville, Mass. to Matthew Ross Perkins of Boston, Mass. Ross is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Christopher Starr of Greensboro, N.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Virginius Perkins III of Greensboro, N.C.
Sarah received a B.A. in English from Davidson College and is currently employed by Massachusetts Campus Compact as an Americorps*VISTA Leader at Lesley University, Cambridge, Mass.
Ross received a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and is a financial consultant with Accenture Ltd. in Boston, Mass.
An August 15, 2009, wedding is planned at Irving Park United Methodist Church in Greensboro, N.C.
